Welcome to the website for MATH 463 Topics in Biomathematics!
MATH 463 Topics in Biomathematics, is a course taught at the University of Scranton. See the course syllabus for more information. This site is a home for many of the course materials developed by Jason M. Graham in teaching MATH 463 since 2013.
Biomathematics is concerned with the use of mathematical methods (e.g., linear algebra, differential equations, dynamical systems, and probability theory) to understand phenomenon in the life sciences, it is part of the larger field of mathematical and theoretical biology. Mathematical and theoretical biology provide a solid foundation for computational and quantitative approaches to investigations in biology and medicine.
